Follow the instructions for signing in, once signed in using the link emailed to you, add items to your shopping bag, then just close the webpage and the next time you open it the items will still be in your bag.
There is no need to sign out each time unless you are on a public computer and if you do sign out you will lose the items in your bag.
If you don't sign out, the items should only leave your bag when you finalise and pay for the order.
Please note our online shop will be closed for a few days following the order closing date each month. If you find it closed, please register with us in the meantime to receive notification when the shop opens again and all our regular information with ordering and collection dates.
Citric acid - food grade
The product can also be used for various applications, including:
- As a cleaning/chelating agent
- De-scaler
- Food Production (particularly in wine and drink manufacturing)
- Cosmetic additive (commonly found in many chemical peel products)
- Photography (most often to neutralise film developing solutions)
- To make bath bombs
For all these applications you will need to do your own research into how to use citric acid. But is is commonly suggested as a natural ingredient for many homemade cleaning applications for those looking to move away from using chemicals in the home. eg by Nancy Birtwistle
Citric acid appears as a white/clear crystalline solid which easily dissolves in water.
WARNING:
Causes serious eye irritation.
May causes respiratory irritation.
Avoid breathing dust/fume/gas/mist/vapours/spray.
Wash hands thoroughly after handling.
Wear protective gloves/clothing/eye protection/face protection.
IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: get medical advice/attention.
Store in a cool dry place.
